ABOUT THE GALLERY

CASA CDM showcases fresh perspectives in fine art and design by local practitioners, alongside exceptional objects for the home.

Jasmina Jaskovic launched the project in 2024 with a thoughtful curation of large-scale paintings and sculptures by emerging local talents mixed with singular vintage finds sourced from her years of collecting. Now one year old, CASA CDM continues its mission of promoting local artists who pursue technically intricate work and engage creatively with materials. While CASA CDM’s vintage selection is ever-changing, always expect a medley of signed ceramics and timeless barware.

On East Coast Highway, the gallery occupies a refined space Jasmina renovated minimally—concrete floors and a hand-built stone wall echo the design sensibility she brought to her own home renovations in Corona del Mar, where she lives. Inspired by vibrant cultures, including her Eastern European heritage, and the staggering beauty of the coast, the space serves as a place of discovery and contemplation where artworks reflect their makers and objects carry stories. A guiding influence on Jasmina’s vision is her mother, Ljiljana, an accomplished seamstress who instilled in Jasmina a love of craftsmanship, textiles, and personal style. The gallery shares this spirit of home through intimate curation, local collaborations, and tactile experiences, while also hosting artist talks, exhibitions, and pop-ups. In June 2025, Riviera Magazine named it the ‘Best Home Decor Destination’ in Orange County.

ABOUT JASMINA

Jasmina Jaskovic is the founder and creative director of CASA CDM. While building her family’s home in CDM (2022-2023), Jasmina sought local materials for this personal project. As she researched and visited with artists in their studios, she discovered a diverse network of creatives close to home. These alliances sparked the idea for CASA CDM. A guiding influence for Jasmina’s vision of CASA CDM is her mother, Ljiljana. During her lifetime, Ljiljana was an accomplished seamstress who instilled in Jasmina a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, personal style, and textiles.
