ABOUT THE GALLERY

Founded in June 2024, CASA CDM is a gallery of fine art and objects for the home located in the heart of Corona del Mar, California. The gallery focuses on California-based artists working in ceramics, drawing, installation, painting, and sculpture. In addition, it hosts a program of events including artist talks and pop-ups with local creatives. The home objects in CASA CDM’s collection are carefully sourced from all over the world, ranging from vintage to contemporary, and curated with a focus on handmade pieces and natural materials. Born from Jasmina’s passion for art and craftsmanship, CASA CDM celebrates beauty in everyday life through quality, simplicity, and thoughtful design.

ABOUT JASMINA

Jasmina Jaskovic, owner and founder of CASA CDM (2024), is a Corona del Mar-based designer creating residential interiors and overseeing the creative direction for CASA CDM gallery. She lives with her husband and two children, who influence her creativity. Born in Germany to Bosnian and Serbian parents, the vibrant cultures of Jasmina’s heritage are another source of inspiration. Jasmina’s passion for art and textiles originated from her mother, Ljiljana, a highly skilled designer and seamstress whose attention to detail was firm and unwavering, offering Jasmina a master class in materials and technique from a young age. 

As an adult, Jasmina began collecting one-of-a-kind objects and furniture. In 2023, she completed her first architectural project, building and designing her family’s home. As she documented the process from beginning to end, the idea to open a locally-driven, globally-inspired creative space developed, sparking the foundation of CASA CDM, a multi-layered gallery for community and creativity to overlap.
