Kayla Janes received both her BFA and MFA from Laguna College of Art and Design. Growing up on the California Coast has fostered her deep love for the natural environment. In her paintings, she explores how one’s exterior surroundings can mirror internal states. She believes that natural phenomena offer insights into various stages of one’s own existence.
